The successful candidate will be part of a growing clinical team offering BUSS interventions for children and young people from birth to 25 years. This includes BUSS assessments and interventions offered face to face from our West and North Yorkshire bases and remotely to children and families across the UK. You will manage your caseload and there will be opportunities, in time, to contribute to our group work programmes and be involved in training. We envisage that for the first 6 months you will benefit from a fast track, intensive training programme supported by members of the BUSS team to develop your skills in BUSS assessment and intervention with a view to reaching accredited practitioner status within 6-8 months. After this time you will work within the BUSS team as an accredited practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, growing organisation where you will receive the support you need to reach accreditation. This post would suit an experienced practitioner with skills and knowledge of working effectively with children who are looked after / in special guardianship arrangements / children and their adoptive families.
Essential
A core training (e.g. social work, clinical psychology or occupational therapy) and the relevant professional registration (e.g. HCPC, Social Work England), with at least 2 years post qualifying experience.
An understanding of the BUSS Model and a commitment and interest to complete BUSS training and to reaching accreditation as a practitioner, with on the job training, within 6-8 months.
Experience of working with children and young people and their families who have experienced developmental trauma, using a collaborative approach in which parents/carers are regarded as the key agents of change.
Experience of systemic working – working with parents and carers as well as colleagues in the field of fostering and adoption.
The ability to build effective relationships, inspiring trust and confidence within the organisation and externally with families and their support networks (including schools).

BUSS Administrator
Employer: Oakdale Therapies Ltd.
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum pro rata
according to qualifications, skills and experience.

To take responsibility for the administration of clinical referrals to BUSS
Responding to initial enquiries
Liaising with Social Workers and clinical teams
Inputting new referral information onto our database
Contacting referred families and clients to arrange initial and subsequent appointments
Processing case administration within our system
Typing and sending letters and appointment emails
Liaising with clients and other external agencies as needed to ensure the appropriate processing of cases.
Working with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the service
Assisting with the drafting and production of service information reports
Providing administrative and secretarial support to Therapists and the management team, including diary management.
Managing contracts and working closely with the finance team and the Head of Clinical Services regarding invoicing
To have a working knowledge of the training being provided by the company and to provide support for this team as needed
Essential:
